By the time he turned 18, he was already managing the responsibilities of building homes while working nights in an automotive factory. This early balance of demanding work and dedication not only shaped his strong work ethic but also instilled in him the discipline and determination that would define his professional life.

Bill relocated to Texas, where he found his true calling in multifamily construction. Over the past 15 years, he has become a respected leader in the sector, bringing a unique blend of hands-on building experience and executive management expertise to every project. His career has included key leadership roles at several highly regarded companies, where he successfully oversaw major construction initiatives, guided teams through complex challenges, and delivered projects that enhanced communities and exceeded expectations.

Ryan works to foster relationships with third-party clients and other stakeholders in Ridge’s broader partner network. With extensive experience starting, leading and managing broader businesses, Ryan is primarily focused on back-office needs as well as banking and staffing initiatives for Ridge.

As business development is his chief passion, Ryan continually looks to position Ridge in front of new opportunities and in alignment with local associations where Ridge currently does business as well as growth markets for the future.

Michael Sommers is a seasoned Senior Project Manager at Ridge Construction, bringing more than 20 years of expertise in construction, operations, and project leadership. Known for his hands-on, no-nonsense management style, Michael leads complex roofing and general construction projects — from everyday builds to high-pressure catastrophe response efforts — with precision and a relentless focus on quality, timelines, and budget.

At Ridge Construction, he is trusted to oversee full-cycle projects, coordinating subcontractors and crews, managing permitting and inspections, ensuring compliance with city codes, and maintaining control over every detail from start to finish. His ability to balance operational oversight with practical field leadership has earned him a reputation as a reliable, results-driven leader.

Michael’s career began at age 18 in a concrete plant, where he gained a deep understanding of materials and production. Over the years, he expanded his technical expertise across multiple trades and spent more than a decade in fleet management, sharpening the logistical and leadership capabilities that now define his project effectiveness.

Today, Michael leverages his extensive experience and strong work ethic to deliver top-tier results for Ridge Construction’s clients. He remains committed to building with integrity, leading teams with confidence, and ensuring every project is executed to the highest standards.

Joshua Ortega is an accomplished construction professional recognized for his strong leadership, operational expertise, and results-driven approach. As Superintendent at Ridge Construction, he oversees complex projects with a focus on quality, efficiency, and team collaboration. Drawing on more than a decade of diverse experience across construction, logistics, and retail operations, Joshua brings a well-rounded perspective to every project he manages.

Joshua began his career as a self-employed landscaper at just 18, developing early proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and client relations. He later advanced into logistics management for a high-end furniture company, where he refined his skills in team coordination, customer satisfaction, and the safe handling of high-value materials. Most recently, he served in a management role with Lowe’s Home Improvement, where he specialized in operations and inventory control. There, Joshua built deep expertise in construction materials management—overseeing procurement, analytics, and reporting systems to drive efficiency and informed decision-making.

Known for his calm leadership and ability to motivate teams toward shared goals, Joshua is adept at leveraging technology and process improvement tools to streamline operations and ensure timely project delivery. His leadership style combines practical field knowledge with strategic insight, making him a trusted and respected presence on any job site.

A graduate of high academic standing, Joshua earned recognition in the National Honor Society and ranked among the top 25 percent of his class. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time on the course refining his game and embracing the outdoors.
